Title                : Android Developer

Location         : Foster City, CA

Duration        : 9 months

Education/Experience 

o Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required 

o 5+ years experience required  Responsibility level  o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor 

Skills 

o Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) 

o Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills (Required) 

o 2+ years of Android mobile application development experience (Required) 

o Demonstrated Android Development Skills in Enterprise Clients 

o Design and develop native mobile applications for Android 

o Demonstrated expertise with the Android SDK 

o Experience using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems 

o Passion for user experience 

o Working experience with web development and XML 

o Knowledge of SQL 

o Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, source control and peer code-reviews 

o Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new task 

o Proven ability to work and have fun in a team environment 

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

o Develop next generation mobile payment applications 

o Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure 

o Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information
