We are looking for well- experienced Windows kernel/ device driver developers. Duties will include designing and developing features for the Windows 7/8** Key qualifying criteria: 5 to 8 years of windows software development experience at a system level Requires strong coding, implementation, and design skills. Candidate must have thorough understanding and experience in writing multi-threaded Windows code and inter-process communication (IPC) in a Windows environment Expert knowledge and hands on experience with Windows kernel/device driver development Experience developing Windows I/O drivers Possess strong C/C++ programming skills and are an expert in Microsoft Visual Studio He/she should be an expert in using Windows debugging tools Highly desirable: Possess thorough understanding of Windows internals, e.g. - *the I/O manager, cache manager &c Good understanding of Win32 API Worked on multiple products through the full product life cycle from product concept to product release Desirables (any): Windows 7/8 kernel, DDK, SATA, I2S, I2C, USB, PCIe, UART, SDIO, SPY No of positions: 4 Levels: Interm / Senior Locations: Redmond, WA and Portland, OR areas (Please indicate your job location preference while applying for this job)
