Current Requirements in Seattle:
We are looking at Project Ramp-ups for various projects in the Washington State for our strategic initiatives and as part of our growth plans with clients like Microsoft, Boeing, AT & T, T-Mobile. We have been working with these clients for years now and have a very strategic relationship with them with multiple end-to-end project implementation and also few Staff Augmentation needs. All projects are long term with a scope to grow and work in a challenging environment.
Temped at a famous company through HCL Technologies in Sunnyvale. Nice learning experience.
HCL Technologies found me a project in Seattle. Helpful and good people.
I have learnt various skills during my time with HCL Technologies that have paid off extremely well in my later jobs. I left because I had to relocate every 6 months or so.
If you love to work on your own and want the freedom to decide what you want to do, then HCL Technologies is perfect for you. The company allows you to find your skill set and assign work that help you to flourish. Pay may not be that much but offer good benefits.
Training in the beginning was the fun part during the contract work; due to the training I was able to use some of my knowledge as leverage to learn new things.
Excellent training was given but the management was not very knowledgeable. As contractors the experiences was good but spend a short duration there, access to their network was not given at the beginning and as being a contractor didn’t feel a part of the team. Not to mention, I did not gain access to any of the network resources until two weeks before my contract ended.
Experience with management has been a good one thus far, joined as a contractor but they said it covert it to full time employment after a few months but it didn’t happen. As a contractor the company is very good to work with the experience is nice.
Good atmosphere and the project are technically good to. Definitely has a clear prospect.
The CEO of HCL Technologies may believe in “Employee First” but my time in the company did not reflect that. Yes there is job security and brand name but salary is not at all at par with industry
Average offshore company. Decent benefits. Bureaucratic and not very very quick if you ever run into issues. You'll have to deal with people in India to resolve issues. In the pros- they have a lot of open positions although the rates are usually lower than what you can get with local companies.
