Description | Title : Sr. IT Project Manager Location : Foster City, CA Duration : 09 months (Possible extension) • Quickly assemble and lead cross organizational high performance teams, creating collaborative environment and executing with a sense of urgency • Drive efficiency by utilizing Visa Project Management Methodology, processes and tools • Efficiently navigate Visa’s organizational structure to identify impacts, stakeholders and authorities • Provide timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders; hold regular cross organizational management briefings • Lead boldly and utilize hard and soft skills to influence participants of all levels towards the common goal • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues • Maintain meticulous records of projects and programs financials, issues, risks, decisions, schedules
Education/Experience o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. o 10+ years experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required) o Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) o Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) o Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods (Typically required) o Prior experience managing Infrastructure and security projects a plus.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity o Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements o Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve
