Knowledge/Experience of build and deployment systems Needs to be equivalent to an SDE 2. Coding experience way more important than test experience. SDET: Should be able to do Server side and Client Side performance testing Analyse/troubleshoot the results and find out the cause Should be able to write tools using C# to automate the process
