Description | Facilitates discussions with end users of all management levels to gather and gain understanding of business needs. Supports project initiation and management efforts by assisting in the definition of project scope and the development and maintenance of work plans, estimates, and timelines Translates business requirements into technology solutions. Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements to support the design and development of SharePoint 2013 based technology and/or process solutions Clearly defines and communicates targeted functional solution via functional design specifications. Specifications may require use cases, sequence diagrams, process swim lane diagrams, etc. Creates technical specifications to meet functional requirements. This may also require the ability to create prototypes and lead user reviews of functionality Verifies technical designs satisfy functional requirements. Develop SharePoint components including but not limited to workflows, web parts, lists, web pages, InfoPath forms Leverages SharePoint 201x expertise to synthesize and propose appropriate solution options Leads iterative solution design and prototyping efforts Performs application configuration in support of solution delivery initiatives Proactively identifies and effectively assesses improvement opportunities (productivity/efficiency gains, cost savings, etc.) Leverages SharePoint subject matter expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting complex system/user issues to drive resolution and determine root cause Coordinates issue resolution efforts across peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors as required Effectively coordinates and communicates issues resolution with end-users Correlates related issues and assesses trends to identify broader improvement opportunities Required Knowledge Functional experience in relevant business area: 5 years. End-user support and training: 4 year. Systems design, testing and implementation: 3 year. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Effective customer service skills and the ability to convey technical information in an accessible and understandable manner. Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Systems and process flow documentation skills. Understanding of functional area business objectives, strategies and work flow processes. Working knowledge of business specific application system (e.g., Portal, CAD, MRP, HRMS, applicant tracking). Knowledge of business requirements management. Experience with requirements gathering Strong systems analyst and organization skills Sharepoint 2010/2013 experience Web apps background or other collaboration systems JIVE or YAMMER experience is a plus Web technology and collaboration background CMS Content management system experience is preferred (cycore or others) Intranet/Extranet/Team collaboration applications experience BRDs experience is required Agile experience is preferred | |
