    Description Play a key role in helping our client win in cloud computing by being the point person in coordinating agile, smooth and timely customer and partner impacting changes to the our clients cloud platform. The pace of change is both exciting and astounding. We are looking for an experienced Release PM that can keep up with this speed of change and plan, develop, and coordinate the execution of repeatable and nimble release processes that impact customers and partners. The job requires someone with strong leadership, influence and organizational skills to coordinate complex releases across a large number of stakeholders, both within and external to Microsoft. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing similar type changes, have strong project leadership skills, and is highly organized, with great attention to make sure critical details are not overlooked. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: In this role you will deliver timely, well-coordinated and effective customer and partner impacting changes by: Coordinating. Managing the rollout of changes to the internal offers and purchasing processes for employee access to the our clients' cloud platform. Driving the Last Mile Excellence processes and cadence for the BG. Striving to continuously reduce release cycle times without impairing quality. Identifying, tracking and driving resolution of release issues. Identifying and tracking release risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans Managing vendor resources involved in release management activities KEY QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of: Coordinating with many groups to successfully implement customer and partner impacting changes. Facilitating, maintaining, and improving change management and release management processes to maximize their effectiveness and agility. Strong core project management skills (scheduling, issue identification/resolution, risk mitigation, dependency management. Adjusting priorities, decisions, and actions to respond to multiple demands, unanticipated events, and new information. Shipping Internet focused products Working well in a high profile environment. Strong data analysis and knowledge of BI systems (SQL knowledge preferred) KEY LEADERSHIP/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Highly organized, with great attention to ensure required details are not overlooked Strong cross-group communication, collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills Reliable and responsible, Customer-oriented, Relationship building skills, maturity, strong presentation skills, high degree of self-confidence. Desire to be involved in a development stage business with an entrepreneurial bias, Seize opportunities by having a passion for the customer and drive for value creation The candidate must also have: BS - no specific field of study required although a degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or the equivalent in related work experience) preferred 2+ years of experience in Release Management 4-6 years of PM experience Preferred: Training or certification in project management (e.g., PMP), Six Sigma, or software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Microsoft SDLC
