Our system needs to meet remarkably high standards of quality, performance and reliability, operating around the clock on a massive scale. If you are a talented, detail-oriented, enthusiastic QA engineer who is passionate about providing an awesome user experience and enthusiastic about new cutting-edge technology, then this is the right team for you. Our client's QAEs are able to understand software at the code level, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with Perl/Java scripts and/or user-level automated tools. They work with development engineers to understand features and technical implementation. QAEs also work with Product Management, Merchandising, and Customer Support to understand customer usage. QAEs create test plans and suites which intelligently target risk areas, and seek ways to push the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. Basic Qualifications -BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience -One to three years of QA experience -Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools Preferred Qualifications -Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files -Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings -Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and be able to synthesize the results -Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness -Experience in working on Mobile devices preferred -Experience in Perl/Python scripting and user-level automation preferred
