Description | Volt is hiring experienced IT HelpDesk Support professionals in Seattle, WA to provide remote support to internal company IT users, on desktop PC's, laptops, tablets and mobile devices. Job Responsibilities: Hardware/Software support in a Windows environment, including Active Directory and Office 2010 applications. These positions are offered through Volt Technical Resources, located in Redmond, WA. Requirements: IT Help Desk Support SpecialistQualifications: 2-3 years of technical software/hardware troubleshooting experience, preferably in a Helpdesk role Experience with the Windows platform through Windows 7 Experience managing the lifecycle of incidents/requests using a ticket management tool Experience troubleshooting, assessing and solving minor support problems involving desktop hardware and software Soft Skill Attributes: Excellent communication and inter-personal presentation skills Customer service driven Technically oriented while maintaining the ability to positively interact with non-technical clients Creative problem-solver Conflict resolution skills Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision Must be available to work flexible work schedules Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
