| Description | Full Stack Java Developer Duration: 8 Months Location: San Jose, CA Primary Job Responsibilities: The individual will be responsible for helping drive successful solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, from ideation, through development, and post go live, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the technical solution and working closely with development teammates in the Scrum process, including Engineering, Business Development, and Information Security to ensure a quality technical solution and customer satisfaction goals are met. Job Requirements: Interact with Account Management, Business Units, and Engineering to gather requirements. Work with stakeholders in PD, QA and Business to create solutions Frequently interfaces with other functional teams on all aspects of a feature or sub-system. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish results through influence while meeting deadlines Develop strong working relationships across levels and functions. Facilitate problem diagnosis and resolution in relevant areas. Basic Qualifications: BS EE or CS degree; 6 + years related experience or Masters and 4 + years related experience Java (at least 4 years) Hibernate Spring Aspect Oriented Programming (Java Aspects)- nice to have Knowledge of Batch Systems (Preferably Quartz) Basic Security Best Practices UI Development (Optional)- have an understanding Perl and regular expressions SQL (MySQL and Oracle) Unix/Linux environment Maven - general usage - XML * HTML- have an understanding Java Script - PHP * nice to have Additional Comments: Need a Full stack developer- Java Solid experience with Hibernate, Spring, and Java required RDBMS: Experience with MySql is preferred, though Oracle and SQL Server are ok as well Payments and Security experience is very important as well as having worked with companies like Visa, Amex, etc. This is not required, but helpful Contract is likely to extend: Possibility of conversion depending on skill set (higher chance if has a lot of the nice to haves), as well as budget/headcount | |
