| Description | We are looking for an experienced Linux engineer . The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing various infrastructure solutions and tools. Responsibilities: Integrate AD authentication with and Linux. Identify and fix existing problems in our build tool. Redesign and implement if necessary. Implement monitoring solution for Linux infrastructure. Document and hand-off to Linux system administrators. Qualifications: Multi-year experiencing with building, configuring and troubleshooting Enterprise Linux systems, physical and virtual. Detailed understanding of SAN/NAS for Linux systems Expertise in large scale systems management and monitoring systems, including Puppet, LDAP and nagios. Strong shell scripting abilities and experience automating tasks. Strong technical documentation skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Professional demeanor appropriate for mature enterprise. Work Experience and Education Guidelines: 5+ years experience with building, configuring and troubleshooting Enterprise Linux systems, physical and virtual Expertise in large scale systems management and monitoring systems. Well versed with ITIL processes, incident, change and problem management and request fulfillment process Detailed understanding of SAN/NAS for Linux systems, including experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting (Powerpath, HDLM) Strong shell scripting abilities and experience automating tasks Strong customer service orientation | |
