Founder and CEO at HADAF: From Passion to Progress (Jan 2014 - Present)
HADAF (“هدف”), meaning “objective” in Arabic, will work to turn passion into progress, by building an organization focused on cultivating entrepreneurship and economic progress by way of start-ups and innovators in underserved areas in the Middle East and Africa (MENA). How do we best support economic progress and development in historically underserved areas within the MENA region? It begins with identifying exceptional individuals with innovative ideas and empowering them to become agents of change. These communities can be the incubator for entrepreneurial ideas that advance economic and social development to the region. Many of the Arab youth living in these underserved areas lack the infrastructure and programming necessary to cultivate development in areas, such as education, health care, financial access and economic progress. These communities are also the ones that need support for the existing untapped resources and individuals with ideas for global change and progress. The mission of HADAF: Turning Passion into Progress will be to mitigate the aforementioned challenges and bring a heightened sense of social awareness to the region. In partnership with organizations and companies in identified underserved communities, we will provide mentorship and training on strategy building and entrepreneurship to talented individuals. HADAF will bring awareness to these passionate ideas and provide the skills and tools necessary to turn them into economic progress.
