ZeroChaos Facts 2014 |
Cool place to work
Cant recommend enough
I was referred to Zerochaos by a Manager at AT&T in Seattle as I had already been selected for an IT consultant position by him. The online web forms and setup was smooth. I appreciated the fact that they disclosed their bill rate that many other consulting companies in the past would never have done. Their markup around 10% was reasonable (if there is ever such a thing). They have been responsive over the phone and I didn't feel the need to meet them (why anyone does anymore I don't know). I am paid directly to my account- do my work- all's well- kudos for a job well done.
Every staffing company has two kinds of reviews- those which rate the company as place to work full-time (internal) and ones by contingent workers at client locations (external) which actually depends partially on how they were treated by clients of ZeroChaos. Internally Zerochaos is pretty above average in my experience. There is recognition and attention paid to full-time employees to make them feel as valued employees, the work is exciting and the company feels like it has a mission to accomplish - transforming the staffing industry as opposed to just placing bodies at a client. The great thing about work-from-home positions is that contingent workers prefer the flexibility and shorter work hour requirements as this fits their lifestyle better. I wish this was more clear and people don't think these are bad jobs- just that they are not for everyone.
I worked at ZeroChaos as an Ad Quality Rater. It was a good experience and the job met my expectations for a work from home type opportunity. It is a great option to have if you have any restrictions that keep you from going into a regular 9-5 type job onsite. I am not sure I could do this on a full-time basis and probably wouldn't recommend this for that.
Signed up with ZC and went through a lot of formalities but not getting enough work and no visibility into whats coming down the pipe. Hope this is not the future of work. Don't understand why they don't hire fewer workers and keep them employed for longer hours instead of spreading the work so thin that no one is happy.
I was payrolled by ZeroChaos for a contract position at a client in San Francisco. Didn't know too much about them. They pay on time and seem decent to work with. Didn't realize they were such a big company or had so many marquee clients. Good to see Oncontracting maintaining a staffing agency list like this. Will make life easy for independent contractors like me as I find my own projects and never know how to find a preferred vendor for a company. Actually landed on this site while looking for a payrolling vendor for Cisco. Thanks and keep up the good work (PS. fix the Linkedin import bug).
