Not bad- not great
I'd work for them
Reputable company
Not very good
When you work for Manpower, it means you have access to their excellent online courses. The employees are encouraged to better themselves through training and education and share knowledge. If you are planning to make a career in recruiting industry, you are in the right place. The only thing I found lacking was the database tool training. There is also lack of documentation that can utilize them.
If you are between your careers and need temp work, then Manpower is the place to contact. They have great database of client and you are sure to find a job fitting your profile. They really live by their motto of putting “people to work”. But be sure to negotiate for a good pay rate based on your qualification.
Mastech will work for you if are good at working alone; they put you into good position and don’t contact you unless there is a need. Which is fine for me and also love the fact that submitting timesheet is very easy. They also have decent medical plans. But be ready to negotiate well according to your capacity.

I used to work for Manpower and left it because there were so many laid back people in job who were interested in just punching the clock that it lowered the morals of people like me who are ready to work extra hours to reach our goals! The management don’t bother to check and no one takes accountability for the wrong decisions.

The best part of working for Manpower is that, I know from the beginning how I can elevate my salary. The company is very transparent on this issue and their HR policies are best in the field. The work/life balance is good and the pay is at par with industry standards. You get worldwide exposure by working here and work arrangements can be flexible if you need it.

Half my day in Manpower is spent on trivial day to day work. The company should seriously look into this and hire others for administrative jobs to free us to do what we love the best, helping people find job. Even the managers end up doing non-revenue work which takes a toll on their success. The senior management is out of touch with their field and more into corporate culture. There is also favoritism when it comes to higher postings and promotions.

I have worked with Mastech, and though there is nothing great about it, there was nothing bad as well. The pay was decent and in time but pay raise was slow and I had to negotiate hard for that. They also have 2 week bench period and they also need to communicate more once you are in job.
