Günther Douglas was founded by Lisa Günther and Douglas Payne in the year 1999. Both with over 20 years of combined experience in the Denver market doing IT placement and consulting. Having worked for larger IT consulting firms for many years, they decided that Denver needed a local, personalized recruiting firm that focuses on customer service, providing only the best candidates available. Many large IT consulting firms hire consultants as full time salaried employees, when they are not billing, that cost is passed along to the client as overhead expense. They also try to fit the wrong talent when staffing projects with those available and sitting “on the bench,” resulting in low productivity and frustration for both the client and consultant. Therefore, its philosophy is to provide the most qualified candidate to the client.
The continued growth of its firm has caused Günther Douglas to move from its former location in downtown Denver to its new location in the Highlands, located just west of downtown Denver. The new office was designed to facilitate teamwork and open communication and offers convenience and character to those who work with it. It cannot stress enough the need to have fun in the working environment, along with providing the best IT services in Colorado. It has consistently grown each year since its inception, and look forward to continued growth in years to come.
