    great for entry level testing jobs. Experience at Microsoft was invaluable in getting me a fulltime job at a startup in Seattle.

    Beyondsoft is typical of many Chinese companies that have become IT staffing providers for Microsoft and other tech companies in Seattle. Careers at Beyondsoft are dictated by how much you drive it. Don't expect them to guide and mentor you- in that respect they are like most staffing companies in the US. However their HR setup can be improved as they still don't seem to have their processes figured out yet. They however are very aggressive in hiring and will negotiate and offer much better rates than I was offered by local staffing companies for the same position. They also do offshore projects and I was able to snag a job doing offshore coordination and gained some PM experience. I would recommend Beyondsoft as a good employer for those seeking IT jobs in software development, testing or Program Management, System Engineering, Lab Support, etc. However not much better or worse than other companies like TekSystems or CompuCom who I have experience with.

    It is not fair to compare Beyondsoft which is a temp agency to full-time jobs at Microsoft or Google. They should be compared to other staffing agencies like Insight Global or TekSystems. In that, Beyondsoft is a good new alternative to the old timers who used to have a monopoly. I enjoyed working with a smaller company, where they treat you with respect and pay a much better rate. Their benefits are also good and they are responsive to requirements. The only downside is they may not have a lot of positions so after your contract, you might want to look for yourself instead of relying on them.

    Having worked at Microsoft as a contractor for the last five years, I have learned that Beyondsoft is one of the better vendors out there. I have convinced several friends who were doing the same job as me to switch their agency to Beyondsoft because of their higher pay rate and better benefit package.
