Not bad- not great
I was an employee of Apex Systems in Los Angeles. The work was good. They paid on time and resolved problems OK. Fine
Looking for a recruiting company, then you need to talk to Apex SystemsWashington DC
Apex Systemsis one of the better employment agencies in San Francisco. Go to them if seeking short term work.
Through Apex systems, I was a contractor at a client site. Not sure how they value add to the contractor after they have placed on client site. Pay rate stays same. Medical insurance very expensive, decent 401k but absolutely no paid holidays or anything.
Temp Agency Apex Systems is a good temp agency in San Diego. Recruiters work hard and are responsive.
Worked for 6 months at Apex Systems in Palo Alto. Good pay, good benefits.
The folks at Apex were good to me as a contractor. First instance where they help me get a decent job to cover somebody on maternity leave & another instance where I was covering up for someone temporarily. I think their recruiters are helpful and good.
It was a fun contract job with flexible work hours and free parking. I wish my contract was longer.
Apex recruiters were in touch during the contract period & used to appreciate my work. I did receive couple of bonuses during my contract. Would recommend them to others. They really care about their contractors.
Quarterly bonuses, fair benefits & supportive staff. I have enjoyed my work here.
As a contractor here at Apex I got an opportunity to learn new technologies by working on different security equipment systems by vendors such as Jupiner, Bluecoat, F5, Fortinet & Cisco. Flexible work hours.
I worked for one of their clients as IT contractor, they have 401k and insurance. Sounds good to me.
I would recommend Apex IT Consulting for contract jobs seekers. Apex it got me my first contract job at Wells Fargo and initially I was little nervous. They helped explain this was all normal and all contractors learn on the job- isn't that the reason you are contracting- to learn. Great advice- now I feel confident when applyig to new jobs.
I have been with Apex System for more than 5 years now and I see their quality is going down for some time now. I had problems with my recruiters which I had to take up with corporate heads. Luckily they took care of it and sorted the problem out. But I think the quality of account manager and recruiters need to be closely watched if the company wants to be competitive in the market.
They have very expensive health benefits for contractors there should be better benefits. The contract although wasn’t noteworthy, they only asked for the timesheet, which wasn’t that difficult and the contact person who hired me was barely seeing by me.
The hiring process was nice and forthcoming but when it came to the terms they were professional people. The overall experience turned out to be ok.
Contractors were cared about and the recruiters helped contractors to fit in a position where the contractor was happy to work although the med benefits were expensive there.
As a contractor the people I was working for were very good as it was a temporary position but I liked my work there along with the people I worked. Unfortunately there were no other contracts after this one that could pay well.
Apex System is for those who love a competitive work environment. If you are an extrovert, you will fit right in and with hard work and determination, you can earn up to $500K a year, as some of our top performers do. It is a large company and so you have to really stand up and make yourself heard if you want to be taken seriously.
The pay structure at Apex System for contractors are weekly and quite ok but what I don’t like is that if you miss their deadline you miss pay that week.
I recently switched to Apex System and so far the experience has been good. The hourly rate is quite decent and my account manager keeps in touch. I have been taken out for lunch couple of times and quite enjoyed it. But there is no paid holiday; not even holidays like President’s Day which I got with my previous company.
I have been working as a contractor for almost a year now in Apex System and quite happy with the company. The paychecks come in time and there are no underhand dealings like going back on what was verbally agreed. The insurance and disability rates are quite lower than others in the market.
I love my job here in Apex System. My manager is most helpful and helps me out whenever I need. The weekly meetings help me to know how well my account plan is progressing. My colleagues are also highly energetic individuals and the work I do is quite challenging. I am sure I am going to have a great career here.
