Cant recommend enough
I worked as a contractor through Accenture in Sunnyvale. Cool learning experience.
I had a great experience while working with Accenture for over ten years (full-time). Chance to do lot of learning as they have variety of projects & clients.
Accenture has wide variety of clients and among the best management consultancy. They're professional & the work environment is good. I would recommend this company to my friends
They provided me with a great job, over three years of full-time employment. As a fresher I was getting a good salary, benefits etc.
Working as a project manager allowed me to broaden my horizon and helped me to better my expertise in complex products. In my 4 years, there I realized that Accenture is a truly forward-thinking company when it comes to employee training.
Good company to work for as a contractor. They care about the workers. Not great for advancement.
Even though the HR department would have benefited from having more stability, this was overall a solid company to work for. The HR department of a company is important as a full-time employee, but as a contractor it is even more so because they are the ones that set the policies for interaction between contractors and the rest of the company. Thus, having the HR change on us every year was slightly distracting.
Had a tough time adjusting to the culture and the bloated bureaucracy. I did not feel empowered over the direction of my career and the competition between fellow employees for top projects was demoralizing. I would not be interested in returning due to my inability to fit to their culture.
Average pay, but interesting projects.
