Basically, she would get involved in referring E&Y alumni to openings with client companies. She is a Seattle native and graduated from the University of Washington with a business degree in accounting. Mike spent 30 years in the Big 4, a major part of those years as an audit partner with a broad base of experience in a variety of industries. He has extensive hands-on experience working with executives of private and public companies. His primary industry focus was in the high technology industry segments including, electronics, software, telecommunications and biotechnology. Mike was a CPA for many years and is a graduate of Seattle University. Their advantage as recruiters comes from their extensive network and the ability to truly understand the hiring needs of their clients, given their own accounting backgrounds. Carolyn Johnson was also with Ernst & Young for over 20 years. She worked in administration and was a manager of a department for most of her career at the firm. Carolyn Johnson participates in the recruiting process by identifying candidates, conducting telephone interviews, checking references, coordinating background investigations, scheduling interviews, and maintained its website.
