Convergenz, LLC began in July 2000, at what was fast evolving into the “Dot Com bust”, and a rapid rise in unemployment. Its own customers were getting laid off en masse and sending it their resumes, desperate for work. Despite the recession that followed, little by little it was able to successfully help find people opportunities; and as a company survive this difficult time in the economy. Over ten years later, its mission of connecting people with jobs has never seemed more important.
By the nature of the Staffing Industry, Convergenz is in a unique position to help and affect people lives. For over a decade it has been able to assist professionals through historically turbulent times in the American economy. From the Dot-Com bubble, through the post 9/11 wave of layoffs, and the “Great Recession” of 2008—it has been able to offer help and resources to people who have needed access to new career opportunities. Whether it was making a major career change, or simply needing to be placed on a contract assignment to get through “right now”—it hope that it is able to help its consultants and clients through these times of uncertainty. Every day is an exercise in self-reflection —it looks to get better, to learn, and grow. Ownership has been fortunate in having a strong management team to carry on its mission of connecting people with opportunities across North America. It also supports large System Integrators and have become the “Partner of Choice” in their efforts to support the Government. Convergenz Technology Staffing is the largest division in the company. With specialty focuses in most every technical discipline, it delivers its clients high-quality staffing solutions with a focus on velocity. Its Technology Staffing division helps IT managers meet their business and budgetary goals.
Convergenz’s Business Management, Finance & Accounting division provides consultants and professionals in all areas of Business Management. It has a team of recruiters dedicated to this industry.
