Job Description: Windows Phone Global Merchandizing Program Manager We are at an exciting time. Windows Phone is global and we need talented, passionate people to help us deliver high-quality mobile apps and games to consumers around the world! We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the Windows Phone Merchandizing Team as a Global Merchandizing Program Manager. In this role, you will ensure that the best apps and games are consistently and compellingly presented to Windows Phone users in many markets around the world. The Global Merchandizing Program Manager will be responsible for: ? Selecting and programming apps for merchandising in global markets ? Collecting and synthesizing input into the app selection process from multiple sources ? Using business intelligence to tune merchandizing programming across a wide number of locales to optimize user engagement ? Managing the scheduling and execution of merchandizing commitments ? Working with local field teams to coordinate merchandizing of top local developer apps and games ? Becoming a subject matter expert on mobile applications and games ? Downloading and testing published Windows Phone applications for promotional quality Skills and Experience required: ? Working with Excel and/or SQL Server, and large amounts of data to identify, visualize and predict trends ? Passion for mobile apps and games and an earnest interest in working in the mobile space ? Digital consumer merchandising or online content publishing or app quality assessment ? Superior attention to detail with strong organizational skills ? Program or Project Management ? An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines under pressure ? A positive attitude, strong work ethic and great team skills ? A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and initiative ? An ability to follow process while identifying opportunities for improvement ? Strong verbal and written English communication Not required, but additional language or cultural skills with international markets would be highly additive to this role
