    Description Our client, a Fortune 500 company financial company, has an immediate need for a Business Analyst for its corporate offices in downtown Seattle, WA. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with a top-notch Financial company. Duration: 3+ months Location: Seattle, WA The Business Analyst will provide a high-level of analysis for a global RFP project. The Business Analyst will analyze reporting, current processes, and data within different business units. It is expected the Business Analyst will run meetings and communicate with global leaders on a regular basis. This role will work flexible hours due to the global aspect of the position and some travel may be required. Key Skills will include: - Compiling information from RFP interviews. - Developing a method to score RFP responses. - Being able to recognize commonalities between responses to summarize the data and turn it into useful information. Experience/Skils: - Prior experience in Financial Services. 3 year experience in this area is preferred. - Finance MBA is a plus. - Strong business requirements documentation skills is a must. - Must be able to interpret the requirements (both logically and technically), own the requirements document and be able to revise/update the document quickly as the team steps through an intensive iterative phase of review/rewrite before presenting the business case. - Must have experience and ability in: Taking responsibility for owning the entire review process. Supporting the project team and stakeholders with information and analysis. Co-coordinating feedback from the internal team. Additional Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field required. 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst required Requirement gathering, analyzing, and reporting. Experience in graphics and content preferred. Ability to interpret complex analysis, budgeting, and business information Management skills required, including ability to work within a budget and multi-task. Must have the ability to think strategically Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills required Ability to define business requirements, As-Is/To-Be processes, issues and gaps, best practices. May also need the ability to develop test plans and training plans Ability to run regular meetings Strong demonstrated ability to write, speak and present information effectively and persuasively across communication settings Operations and reporting experience required. Global experience preferred. Be able to work early hours (in order to communicate with office in Europe). Technical Skill Requirements: Proficient in MS Access and Excel. Sharepoint experience required. Visio experience a plus. Value Stream Mapping or Lean Six Sigma a plus. *This position will require references who will attest to relevant experience. *
