High-level Description

Our Business Intelligence Practice is currently recruiting for experienced Microsoft BI Developers for its growing team in Seattle.   Our BI developers are responsible for design, construct, test, optimize and deploy of BI solutions on the Microsoft stack with particular focus on back-end data integration, SQL Server database and SSIS development.  The senior developer should also have solid knowledge of business fundamentals that will enable them to work productively with functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and making recommendations related to improving data warehouse, ETL, and reporting components utilized in the enterprise data warehouse and overall information delivery solution
• Highly skilled in ETL methodologies and data manipulation requiring complex SQL coding
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design at the conceptual, logical, and physical level
• Expertise in the visualization and presentation of enterprise data to satisfy analytical, decision support, and operational reporting needs of the business community
• Capable of translating business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs and the delivery of ETL processes and reporting solutions according to specification, participate with business analysts to gather requirements, produce technical specifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Microsoft BI stack implementation and development experience with complete understanding of data warehouse and data mart modeling.
•  Strong knowledge of OLAP/SSAS.
•  Knowledge and experience with Windows Server & networking technologies.
•  Solid knowledge of business fundamentals and ability to work productively with functional partners
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Prior consulting experience preferred
